1.       We all love a bit of dystopian fiction but did you know before Suzanne Collins made it big with The Hunger Games, she worked for Nickelodeon on Clarissa Explains it All.

2.       Did you know that what we now know as paper is thought to have originated in China as early as the year 105 A.D?

3.       John Green, author of The Fault in Our Stars actually considered writing the story from Isaac’s perspective!

4.       The shortest novel ever written was by Ernest Hemmingway and only had 6 words ‘For sale: baby shoes, never worn.

5.       The largest bookshop in the world is the Barnes and Noble bookstore on 105 Fifth Ave at 18th Street, New York City, USA. This store has 12.87 miles of shelving and covers 150,250ft²! Wow, think of all the books!
